What counts
The billable unit is one completed interpretation: an interpret_lab_report call that returns a summary. A call that fails, or is refused by a limit, is not counted.
get_biomarker_info and suggest_retest_timing are included and never charged separately. They count only toward the rate limit of 60 tool calls per minute per key.
The free allowance belongs to your account, not to a key: all of your keys draw on the same 5, and it does not reset. Once it is used, further interpretations return HTTP 429 with error quota_exceeded.
Upgrading
Paid access is provisioned per agreement while self-serve metered billing rolls out. To continue past the free quota, email support@furva.ai with your key name and expected monthly volume.
Pet owners
Pet owners who use Furva through the ChatGPT or Claude apps sign in with their own Furva account over OAuth. That path is free for pet owners and is not developer pricing.
